Episode 115: Eric Bennett

This week we are grateful to be joined by returning guest Eric Bennett. Eric is one of the USA’s most prominent and prolific leading landscape photographers, having developed an impressive reputation for thoughtful, evocative, unique and diverse images of the unspoilt natural world. In this episode, we primarily discuss Eric’s latest book endeavour, titled “Space, Stillness, Silence”, which showcases the solace of Utah’s sublime desert landscapes. Eric explains how he aims for the book to inspire the value of true, uninterrupted silence and solitude in our few remaining wild places, and how the southwest American desert really embodies these characteristics. Comprising primarily of never-before-seen images and great pieces of writing, and coming with the high quality guaranteed of Eric’s work, it should be a fantastic book for anyone’s shelf or coffee table. We also delve into Eric’s work with a conservation organisation named Quiet Parks International, his new YouTube channel called “Brews n’ Views”, take a look into a few of the images that feature in the new book, and much more.
